Enterprise: The Brig
Jul. 26th, 2009 08:05 amHe remained silent through the night since Spock took his leave from their bit of entertainment. He was curious to see what would come of it, as much as he was curious to see if the young James T. Kirk that had taken over the Enterprise in this universe was as gusty as his own.
Seemed that the young man had no balls, because otherwise he should have been long since dead.
There had been the young woman in blue with fear in her eyes. It was far from a reaction he was unused to. Instead, it was one he damn well expected from his crew. There was no stronger crew, none more feared, none with a more widely spread reputation. To him, Kirk was a young bastard, headstrong, vicious, and good in a fight. He also was no fool to know that the younger man was trying to become captain, but it was also something he was used to. He did not get to the age he was by being foolish about threats.
But for now, he was trapped here in a place of weaklings. Already, he was taking it to his advantage. It would be interesting to see how far it went.
So he remained in his casual sprawl, eyes closed as he half-dozed like a cat. If someone approached, he would wake.

It was clear enough to me when he was foolish turn his back on me that this was far from the Spock of my universe. *a slight tilt of his head* He looks just as pretty on his knees, though. *there's something else in his tone*

Date: 2009-07-26 07:55 pm (UTC)*a slight intake of breath, she looks away from him at his comment* Whatever your relationship was with your Spock, like you said. *steels her gaze back to his* He's not yours. And like I said, if you work with me, we can help you find a way back to where you're supposed to be. That doesn't include attacking members of this crew.

Date: 2009-07-26 08:10 pm (UTC)*shivers at his laugh, though she takes great measures to hide it* He's a person. He belongs to nobody. *takes a step closer* You realize if the Captain requests you to answer his questions, he'll expect you to.

Date: 2009-07-26 08:14 pm (UTC)You tell me he belongs to nobody. But do you really know if that's true? *slowly tilts his head* I will deal with you, or Spock. You, because you have more balls then your captain or I would already be dead. Spock, because I would rather deal with what I already know is mine.

Date: 2009-07-26 08:19 pm (UTC)*crosses her arms over her chest again, raising a brow in question* Do we have a deal... *shakes her head* I don't even know what I'm supposed to call you. What would you prefer?

Date: 2009-07-26 08:23 pm (UTC)I prefer to be called Captain Christopher Pike. Since I've been informed one already exists... for now, Pike will do just fine.
I will assume that normally here we would shake hands. *a small breath out that is definitely a laugh*

*steps back as a guard enters the room with a tray of food* I'm sure the replicators are just as terrible in your world, so it won't be too much of a disappointment. Have a nice dinner Pike, I'll be back later. *nods to him, then the guard and takes her leave*
