How this meme works:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

I make no promises that you will like the answers to your questions. Damn 'internet' things. Don't understand them, but I'm learning.

The fur will still end up all over our bed and clothing and food, no matter how much you work on it.

2. I'd prefer not to discuss it here.

They do.

Yes, I am from the Terran Empire. As I think I explained elsewhere in this convolution, it is my universe's version of Starfleet.

3. What exactly is a Buick?

Yes, I'm aware - a different version of your universe (I believe, since the actor who played our Pike looked different from you) featured on an episode of our show.

3. It's a classic brand of automobiles manufactured in the 20th century. You know, hydromatic overdrive, four wheels, one steering wheel, combustion engine...

Do you have an image of yourself? Call me curious.

3. It somehow gained sentience?

Well, that's me in my icon, but if you'd prefer a bigger one?

Me as Spock:

3. Yeah. Neither of us knows how. She seems to remember things from 40 years and some back, but doesn't remember being self-aware then.

Amazing. You look exactly like Jim's Spock. You said you're an actor... makeup? How old are you?

3. A sentient 20th century piece of technology was capable of time travel?

But there are many benefits to the company of a feline companion that exceed the negative value of the inconvenience caused by stray cat hair, including an increased sense of well-being and lower systemic blood pressure.

2. I find that this increases my curiosity regarding the topic. Later, then.

Sir, yessir, fucking Captain, sir.

A feline would greatly increase my systemic blood pressure.

It would not occupy much space. I would be an excellent caretaker of it.

Hours and hours of make-up, yes. Those ears itched. I take it your Spock doesn't look like Jim's then? Does he look like the younger Spock whom I haven't had the chance to meet, yet?

And I'm either 35, or 78 at the moment. Although naturally I didn't look like that when my body was still 78 - my icon comes a lot closer.

3. It's rather mindblowing, isn't it? Especially as she knows she did it, but not how.

Why not something more loyal and able to be taught? Cats have all the loyalty of someone like Sulu.

2. How do you feel about being under Kirk's command? He seems to be a popular and competent Captain.
3. If you could let the entire ship know one thing about you, what would it be? I'm thinking of setting up a book reading group.
4. Have you ever killed someone? No.
5. What manner of combat and weaponry are you proficient in? I have training in both armed and unarmed combat and know how to use a phaser and various martial arts weapons.

How did you know what Vulcans looked like in the 20th century? We had no contact, at least in our universe, for some time after that.

You are both 35 and 78?

Curious indeed. Is the Buick still on ship? I would be most interested in seeing this technology.

Cats are pretty. And I enjoy their independent nature.

You speak of dogs? They... slobber.

You've always enjoyed the hell hounds. Are you calling them ugly?

I think you enjoy petting them because of how it feels under your hands. Soft, warm, vibrating? Mmm...

We didn't. We thought we were making it all up - the Vulcans, other aliens, the Enterprise, the individual characters, hell, particular storylines. We even got it right that apparently Vulcan sand glitters because of the mineral content, when our set designers just sprinkled some in to make it look more alien. I'm at a loss to explain it rationally, although I have more metaphysial theories that are nothing but conjecture, really.

Well. I was 78 before we were transported here. In the process of transposing us, my car also saw fit to return our bodies to the age we were when we first started filming the series about Jim's universe. So yes, I am both.

She's stuck in Engineering for the time being, poor her. I'm hoping to figure out something that will give her a degree of freedom, as she seems pretty lonely. Especially as she can't be driven, which is her main purpose, after all.

It is all quite an amazing story. I would have said impossible, except here you are, speaking with me. If I find the time, I think I will pay her a visit.

The hell hounds are very striking beasts. However, they are not well-suited to life aboard a starship. Also, they slobber.

That... is an improper suggestion for such a public forum.

Christopher, I am green at the ears now. Why do you enjoy discomforting me in such a fashion?

I'm sure she'd appreciate the company. Although I'm still unsure myself as to how it was that I was capable of communicating with her, so perhaps it might be a safer bet to take your Spock along just in case it's not universal.

They barely slobber, and they do not shed.

I enjoy it because it is surprisingly easy to accomplish.

Easy enough, as I'm sure he'll be fascinated by her.

That is untrue. They ruined three pairs of my trousers the last time I visited with them for any length of time. Also, their paws are very... rumpling. And they smell.

You are the only one who finds it so.

I suspect you are mocking me.

They are active creatures, unlike felines who want to lounge about all day like people were there meant to serve them.

As it should be.
