It was surprisingly stimulating to watch Pike strip off his gloves. Spock had developed an appreciation for what those hands could accomplish and his own were, in the Vulcan way, rather exceptionally sensitive, but for some reason, despite the weight of evidence to support the expectation, Spock was always caught off-guard by the simple action. It raised his pulse, flushed his ears, aroused his flesh.
It was distinctly possible Pike had no idea that what he was doing was, in Vulcan society, quite scandalous.
