How this meme works:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

I make no promises that you will like the answers to your questions. Damn 'internet' things. Don't understand them, but I'm learning.

So you're the Winona Pike and George are talking about, I can safely assume.

2. What are you proficient in?
3. George told me he died, what did you end up doing after he was dead? Your counterpart went on quite the warpath.
4. Two kids. What do you think about them?
5. Why the hell Iowa of all places?

Least someone was smart enough...

1. Riley, then. You still the fucker that won't take a sip of liquor in this universe?
2. Still in engineering? Scotty hates your guts because you try to get him sober.
3. Ever kill someone and if yes, how?
4. Where are you actually from, originally?
5. Which Captain do you serve under and what is your real opinion of him?

Interesting.

1. Origin?
2. Where are you assigned to then, department wise?
3. How can you have so much free time on a ship of this size?
4. What do you think about this whole Nero situation?
5. If you could wish any person dead, who would it be?

This is frustratingly hard when you have no idea who someone is.

...What is that?

I believe we crossed the threshold of thinking his mind may be going and it may have actually become a reality.

Unless they've managed to ensnare another Winona, that is indeed me.

2. Engineering. You break your ship in some manner, I can fix it and have you thanking me for it.
3. Not what my counterpart did, apparently. If I had any desire to ever captain a ship, maybe I would have gone on a warpath, but in actuality, I kept doing my job, I was reassigned to different ships. I avoided my sons, got remarried, which was a horrid idea. What exactly did my counterpart do, because I may have thought about it once or twice.
4. Jim did well for himself and I love them both. Other things I think about them are best left unsaid here, lest they read them.
5. You and I have the same opinion of Iowa. It's where my home was, I grew up there, I wasn't the one spending time there after George died.

3. Decided she was going to the ends of the universe to hunt down her husband's killer, destroyed a lot of ships and crews in the process. Was one of the most feared women in the Empire outside of the Empress.
4. ...Ah, not so good. I see.
5. Middle of absolute nowhere. Hot in the summer, freezing in the winter.

3. Sounds impressive. Did you fear her?
4. Yeah. Leaving them alone with my new husband wasn't the best idea in hindsight.
5. I'm aware. It's why I wanted to get out there. Seriously, what does anyone do in Iowa?

1. Earth, the year 2009.

2. I'm not assigned anywhere, I am just...here.

3. I don't have anything to do, and well, I don't understand most of it. Kinda limits things.

4. I don't really know anything about it. Len knows about it from the movie that he did which told that story, but I was kinda, well...dead at the time of that, so I don't know anything except the basics. So I don't really have an opinion. I think I met the manifestation of his ship, the Narada, is it, but only briefly, and not long enough to form an opinion of the man.

5. ...I wouldn't wish anyone dead. I would never wish that upon someone. No matter what someone does, they don't deserve to die. Also, it's not very nice, you know, being dead.

1. If I touch the stuff, it'll be the beginning of a slippery slope to a place I really don't care to return to.
2. Yes
3. No...
4. The same universe as the older Jim Kirk. I've been told it's sometimes referred to as the "prime" universe.
5. Captain James Kirk. He's...saved my life, in more than one way, and he takes a genuine interest in the well-being of his crew. He's one of the best Captains out there. I'm proud to say I serve under him.

I'm strangely curious what kind of questions you have.

I am not sure about the Admiral Archer of this universe, but it seems we three may be in agreement.

5. I have no idea.

A pacifist, and I will assume 'Len' meaning Leonard Nimoy. Did you come with the sentient Buick? How long were you dead for?

Boring, but unsurprising.

Uhura, as lovely and probably as fierce in this universe as in my own.

1. Since I know you already, is Sulu still tempting for your hand in this universe?
2. Other then languages, what else are you skilled in?
3. I know what Uhura's hobbies are there, but what are your hobbies here?
4. If you could chose any one way to kill someone, what way would it be?
5. What do you think of serving under Captain Kirk?

From: [identity profile] de-forest.livejournal.com
Yes, a pacifist, growing up in the aftermath of one World War and serving my country in the Second focused my thoughts on that subject.

Len is indeed Leonard, sorry, I should have been clearer about that. He's told you about the Buick? I was driving when it....just all went white and we appeared here, I don't remember too much more, I think I fainted. He's told me that it's sentient, I'm not too sure I believe him. Maybe it has to be seen to be believed.

I was dead for just over ten years, I think.

I doubt your hand would be the only method to mute this quality.

Nothing will ever mute such a quality, nor would I want it to be fully. Now it simply serves a better purpose.

Hardly. A broken Spock is a useless one.

Flattery seems to be quite common with the people of your universe. It is quite fascinating.

1. We've never been anything more than just friends, and the both of us prefer it that way.
2. I've been told I'm a proficient singer, and I play the harp. I'm a Bridge Officer, so I trained in hand to hand combat though some people seem to forget that. And I'm decent with a camera.
3. A lot of my hobbies don't exactly translate onto a spaceship, but I spend a lot of time in the gym. It's not the same as running an actual track, but it'll do. Or I read, practice music, play a few games with some friends. I was trying to learn Risian to an acceptable standard but it got too busy to continue.
4. If I'm put in the position where that is my only choice, I'd make it direct; quick and efficient. In my experience gratifying some personal desire to see them suffer is a waste of time that you don't have in the field. I do have a fondness for knives though.
5. I trust Starfleet's decision to make him Captain and I have no issue serving on board with him. Even when he is being frustrating.

Even through the silence text I can sense your sarcasm. It was, perhaps to your surprise, a compliment.
