How this meme works:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

I make no promises that you will like the answers to your questions. Damn 'internet' things. Don't understand them, but I'm learning.

*Snorts* You think Chris chased me?

Date: 2009-11-19 06:28 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] iron-command.livejournal.com
Didn't say chase, just after you. Your Christopher was telling me a bit about it.

Ah. Well, to be technically correct, I went after Chris. Took me a while but I finally got him. And I'm never letting him go...not that he ever let me go. You better ask questions before I bore the hell outta you by talking about my Chris.

2. What are your specialties?
3. What are you trained in combat and weaponry wise?
4. How many of these Kirks on board are your offspring?
5. Did you serve under Robau?

3. Daddy probably would have preferred if I went into it for a more permanent degree, but I'm afraid Spock lured me right away.

Daddy liked that I could defend myself...he didn't like that I had to.

5. Similar, in some ways yes. This universe is a lot nicer though. Only Vulcan was imploded, which really sucks because on the rare occasion Spock talked about it, it sounded beautiful. Not that New-Vulcan was bad, just not the original.

2. Linguistics, bartending, and piloting, I'm also considering working to get a counselors liscense.

3. Unarmed and knife fighting for close in, and I was second at the Academy in marksmanship.

4. Mmmm. Biologically Jim and Sam are both my kids. This dimension's Captain, not the one mated with McCoy and Spock. Winie's my former wife and the mother of the two of them.

5. It was an honor to do so.

3. Seems to ring true in every universe.
4. He has... more then one? Interesting to learn. Winona Kirk... quite the fearsome lady, at least in my universe.
5. Heard he's a big man. In every way. That's why you decided to serve with him.

Date: 2009-11-19 06:50 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kirk-george.livejournal.com

3. Huh. What about you? My Chris is the only one who could beat me at marksmanship.

4. More than one what? Oh she is. She is indeed. Wonderfully fierce, so long as you're not the one who's pissed her off and she doesn't have a spanner handy.

5. Are you expecting me to tell tales out of class Christopher? *teases*

3. Unarmed, sword, knife, marksmanship.
4. Bond mate. In my universe, after George Kirk's death, she was determined to make sure his killer met his death under her hands.
5. Don't need the tales, I've heard plenty outside of class.

Date: 2009-11-19 07:03 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kirk-george.livejournal.com
3. Once I'm feeling a hundred percent, I might see how good you are with knives...haven't had time yet to make friends with the security folks here, and I don't know if they do knife fighting...I'd love to learn more.

4. Classy lady anywhere you go, I guess.

5. He was a good man, and a solid Captain. And he was very nice...in class, so to speak.

Date: 2009-11-19 07:06 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] iron-command.livejournal.com
3. If you're anything like the Kirk I knew, you should be pretty damn good with those knives. He was feared for it.

4. Classy. Interesting word choice.

5. He was the man in charge of the armies on Vulcan during the war against the Rebels. George Kirk was his... assistant, assassin, and well-known bitch.

From: [identity profile] kirk-george.livejournal.com
3. The Security chief said I was a natural, and he was crusty enough not to be pandering to the kid. We'll see.

4. I'm a linguist, I use interesting words. *Shrugs* I'm not going to judge you by my own stanards...or at least I'll attempt not to. You're from another world...I am judging you by my Chris' personality...but not by his values.

5. *chuckles* Poor Rich then. I'm a handful and a half...unfortunately for mine, by the time I came to serve under him I'd already made firm commitments to my Chris and my Winnie...he was nice back when he taught a few courses back at the Academy though...very creative.

1. Christa Pike? Seems to be a theme with your universe... Kirk, McCoy, Chekov, Sulu? All female? What about Uhura? Female? Male?

3. What year was it when you left?

5. Humans can swing around traditional Vulcan weaponry and even as a female you're at least twice as strong as any human. Don't they teach the ladies how to fight?

Date: 2009-11-19 08:53 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] science-blues.livejournal.com
1. Jua Uhura is decidedly male. The others, as you have surmised, are female. I presume they differ in your own native universe?

2. 2261

3. Pardon me, I spoke inexactly. Though I possess the physical strength required to utilize the weaponry, the predominance of my pectoralis-medialis and my humero-sternalis over my pectoralis-major causes complication. Specifically, I cannot wield the nor the within acceptable parameters. I cannot hold ideal form while utilizing full extension at combat speeds. If I do so, my scapula would take the full brunt of impact. Ergo, I am ineffective.

1. He was my captain and is now my reporting admiral for the fleet. While I was at the Academy he consulted me for the construction of the science division of the Enterprise, and I in turn asked him for advice on a variety of topics concerning how to navigate Starfleet bureaucracy and questions of command.

2. Does the obvious not provide enough justification for you?

3. Yes. Not with eschak, as your Spock has likely done.

4. I would prefer to dematerialize him, his ship, and his remaining crew into their constituent atomic parts, and then ionize these particles in the corona of the nearest stellar body.

5. Our relationship has (as he is still alive) become more amicable in the aftermath of Vulcan's destruction. Previously, my decision to join Starfleet instead of the Vulcan Science Academy caused him to cease communicating with me. In the efforts to establish the colony, however, we have moved past that difference of opinion.

1. Is that all? You seemed to have a far more personable relationship from how you seem to act as well as when you were in my mind. Curious.

2. No. Other then an issue at the beginning of our meeting, when I hadn't learned about this universe and simply knew myself to be in danger and under attack and responded in a fashion that is typical of my universe, my Spock and I have done nothing but aid you and your crew.

3. He has, many times. How have you?

4. I approve.

1. Perhaps it is only specific to you, sir.

2. The fact that you are presently aware of what is acceptable in this universe would not stop you from repeating the action.

3. Most humanoids' bodies are soft and delicate. It does not take a great deal of force, even applied by the hand, to cease its operations.

Hello, we also haven't met, but these question things really do take up the time, and time is something there is altogether too much of. DeForest, DeForest Kelley, nice to meet you. Ask away.

1. I have no doubt.

2. It would. I'm not just some slobbering monster. Instead I would rather invite you to join my Spock and I.

3. Again, highly approved.
