Spock opened his eyes only once to glance up at him when he nearly pulled back all the way, just to catch a glimpse of Pike's lips moving as that voice washed over his mind. He returned his focus to his task, closing his eyes, and took it down into his throat again. His only sound of--agreement? came then, right from his throat, just for Pike, and his obvious benefit.
