A Little Chat

Pike leaned against the wall near James T. Kirk's bedside. His eyes were half-closed, watching as he rested. The security here was terrible to allow him so close after they had seemed to find him dangerous enough to force himself and Spock into those cramped quarters. Oh well, their foolishness was his gain.

He could wait until the sedatives he had seen be administered before wore off. They needed to speak to each other. Maybe it was the devious notions of his mind, but he had a feeling that Kirk would want to know the child-Captain's plans.

[[OOC - Obviously I understand the idiomatic use of the phrase, I'm just not sure it's the best metaphor ever. But then, maybe it made more sense when it was made up, or something.

Welcome! Look forward to playing with you--PM me if you want to work anything up, or surprise me, I'm easy. I'm also presumptuously assuming we'll be interacting, though now I see you I see you're nu. Well, same still goes!]]

((OOC- Any metaphor that encourages the not-eating of cake is probably not a good one, in my book. Obviously, cake was meant to be eaten. :) Obviously.

And thanks! :) I'd love to do something with you! I guess Yeoman Rand (or Crewman 1st Class as she is right now) could run into him in the mess or something after he recovers? I'd be fine with that. ))
