mirroredcommand: (Surprisingly gentle moment)
How long it had been that he had been asleep was an unknown. Christopher Pike woke all at once but did not jerk or jar awake, simply became conscious and let his body remain relaxed and limp. He took in his non-visual surroundings first. He heard no other movement except the slow breathing of the body beneath his. He was sweating, but considering their previous actions and the body heat the Vulcan was pouring off that was little surprise. The tangy scent of sex and the alien spice that was Spock filled his nostrils.

No. There was another sound. A quiet, repetitive beeping coming from somewhere in the room. It took only a moment to recognize it as a communication, and the concept that someone would dare to bother him now was quickly settled by the knowledge of just where they were. Why would someone be communicating with them now?

Pike lifted his head and looked up across the body to Spock's face, studying the closed eyes but already sensing the half-blood was in naught be a cat-nap state. His body complained only briefly as he moved, sitting up and giving a slow stretch of taut muscles.

"How long has that been going on?" He rumbled aloud, scratching at his stomach and frowning at the fact that they needed a shower.
